A staircase like this or smaller will not affect the price of our piano moving services. Therefore no mention of it is required.
This is the most important information when hiring piano movers. make this measurement at the top of stairs and any landings in between. The safe zone is 4.5 feet and longer. Any shorter will affect the price of the move and must be disclosed before we quote the job, otherwise that quote is void.This measurement is just as important however it doesn’t affect the price. It does however determine if the piano move is possible or not.
WARNING: Any turn within 5 feet of a staircase must be declared in advance. If declared after pricing is settled, said price is void. Example:
